Join us on Thursday, May 25 at 4:30 p.m. for an Author Talk with 2023 Michigan Notable Author, Jeff Morrison and his new book, Guardians of Michigan: Architectural Sculpture of the Pleasant Peninsulas.

He will present a sixty-minute program with more than 250 pictures of architectural sculpture found on buildings throughout Michigan from Ann Arbor to Ontonagon and all points in between. 

The program is made possible with support from the Friends of the Escanaba Public Library, The Library of Michigan, The Library of Michigan Foundation, Michigan Humanities and the Michigan Center for the Book.

AARP is back again this year with tax preparation/assistance to seniors and low-income individuals. There are still openings on the list, but they are going fast. We are now part of an agreement with four large institutions to share access to our Overdrive collections: White Pine Library Cooperative, Lakeland Digital Library, Midwest Collaborative for Library Services, Suburban Library Cooperative, Download Destination and the New Up North Michigan Consortium. This has massively expanded the collections available.

  • Contact us by phone at 906-789-7323 or email at epl@escanabalibrary.org to request  up to a 30 minute zoom conference
  • You will need a computer, tablet or smartphone with a camera, microphone and Internet access. You don’t have to have the software prior to the meeting
  • We will schedule a date and time and send you a email with a meeting invitation which will link to your “Zoom with a librarian” meeting.
