Celebrate National Poetry Month 2025 at the library with two Poetry events in April!

We are having two poetry events in April in Celebration of National Poetry Month. We are kicking off the month with an Open Mic Poetry Night event on Wednesday, April 2 @ 5:30 p.m. Writers, poets, and lovers of poetry are invited to bring a short original piece, a favorite poem by another author, or simply come to enjoy listening to others!

Simply show up and ask to read/recite a poem. No registration is required and all ages are welcome.

Next, Poetry Night with Poets Martin Achatz and Kathleen Heideman, Wednesday, April 30 at 5:30 p.m. The public is invited to listen to original works from these poets.
