AARP offers free tax assistance at Escanaba Library

AARP Foundation Tax-Aide is the nation’s largest free tax assistance and preparation service. This program offers free tax preparation help to anyone, especially those who are 50 or older and are of low to middle income. Membership in AARP is not required.

Services are provided locally at the Escanaba Public Library. Please call the library at 906-789-7323 to register.  A list of documents necessary to prepare the tax return may be picked up at the library and are also available online here

Tax appointments will begin the second week of February. Registered taxpayers will be called to set up an appointment.
