Friends Back to School Open House and Scavenger Hunt
This Saturday, September 6, children and young adults can drop in the library between 11:00 a.m. and 1:00 p.m. and participate in the Scavenger Hunt–Complete six stations and enter for a chance to win a $50 gift card.
You’ll also meet Author Sue Harrison, who will be here with here book, Rescuing Crash-The Good Dog.
While you are here, check out the cool stuff we have in the Children’s and Young Adults areas. Try out one of the iPad stations on the Children’s counter and the electronic play table for small children (and playful adults). In the Young Adults area we have fun furniture and iPads dedicated to this age group. There is even an online catalog with fun graphics designed for children.
Ask staff about our online digital resources for students including databases and journals in MeL.org, Libby for ebooks, audiobooks and magazines/periodicals, and more.
Snacks & Swag provided by the Friends of the Escanaba Public Library. Families are welcome.
