Prepare to safely view the Solar Eclipse, April 8th

Two events coming up to prepare patrons for the April 8th Solar Eclipse.

Saturday, March 16 at 1:00 p.m. Learn to make a safe pinhole viewer to watch the eclipse. For students in 5th – 8th grade.

Wednesday, March 20 at 4:30 p.m. Build your own safe solar eclipse filter Workshop for teens and adults. Learn to make filters for binoculars, cameras, and small telescopes up to 8″.

Register now for either or both events by calling the library at 906-789-7323. Space is limited. 

There are still eclipse viewing glasses available. Ask at the circulation desk!

Presented by the Delta Astronomical Society and the Friends of the Escanaba Public Library. Both events will be held in the library.
